Why there is always tears in my eyes
为什么我的眼睛常含泪水
at the sandy dusk
在泥沙色的黄昏
a stooping mother staring at her shoe stand
一个佝偻的妈妈摆着鞋摊
she was expressionless，
sitting motionless on the small bench
坐在小板凳上一动不动 面无表情
deep wrinkles on her face
脸上刻满的皱纹
was telling her suffering in life
像她挨过生活的打
at the busy Gulou street corner
在热闹的鼓楼街角
a beggar begs me
一个乞丐向我乞讨
but I have nothing to give
而我竟什么都没有
Because I am also a beggar
因为我也是一个乞丐
the only difference is that we are begging for different things
只不过乞讨的东西不同罢了
at the crossroads on my way home
在我回家的十字路口
a blind person plays erhu under the street light
路灯下的盲人拉着二胡
I have forgotten the voice
声音我已经忘了
but I never forget the feeling of heartbreak
心痛的感觉还在
how is he right now
他如今怎么样了
at the mound under the moonlight
在月光下的山丘
a granny is selling apples by a tricycle
一位婆婆推着三轮车卖苹果
if there is no difficulty
若不是生活所迫
everyone would like to stay at home and have a warm midnight
谁又会半夜不在家里取暖
how many people are tools
有多少男人女人是工具人
Why there is always tears in my eyes
为什么我的眼睛常含泪水
Because I feel grief for human’s fate
因为我为人类的命运感到悲戚
If you could see my tears
倘若你能看见我的眼泪
You should know,it’s full of the lake
这湖水 便是我的泪水
That Snow
那片雪
you never see there is a drop of blood falling from the snowing sky
你不曾看见在雪花飞舞的天空中坠落一滴血
That makes it all red
把大地染成了红色
Like there is all red flowers
就像开满了红色的花朵
You never heard
你不曾听到
It sings lightly
它轻声的哼唱着
Hoping to go somewhere far away
想要去远方
Even if there is strong wind and storm
尽管有狂风暴雨
And countless heartbreak moments
和无数心碎的时刻
It still goes on and on
它还是继续前进
Because it would rather die than staying there waiting
因为它宁愿死亡也不愿在原地等待
Whether or not it is the saying that destiny takes a hand
不管命运是否有命中注定
It would roll its way
它只管闯荡自己的路
Only that makes meaning of being
只有这样活着才有意义
It flows like dancing all over the land
它在大地上舞动翻飞
No matter where the end is
无论终点是何处
It’ll disappear with a smile
它都会微笑着消失
And no need to be known
也不需要任何人知道
It was once there
它曾经存在过
Life is like a bubble
